The EX FILM STUDIO is dedicated to produce feature films, transmedia projects, series and documentaries embracing the digital storytelling age through a group of fillmmakers and a network of professionals of interdisciplinary areas like Apps and Software Designers, Illustrators, Graphic Designers, Musicians and Social Media Experts.
Xavier Agudo -Director / Producer – (ex) is an award winner Venezuelan filmmaker and Guiness World Record holder. Lead producer of the international CollabFeature group and director of the Berlin based Ex Film Studio and online distribution collective Zineloft. Has led lectures in Filmmaking workshops in Netherlands (Villa Lux,) and the HFF Potsdam. After producing and directing a dozen of short fiction and documentary films, his debut feature film “Berlin Junction” premiered theatrically in 2013.
His work has been seen in International Film and Theater festivals in Europe, U.S.A., Latin America and Asia.
Juliane Block – Director / Producer – (jb), graphic artist and filmmaker with a design master’s degree from the university of art in Braunschweig has lived and worked the last 6 years in Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia. She returned to Germany in 2011 to pursue her next feature film projects. Juliane has directed and produced two feature films (‘Emperor’ and ‘Kinks’) and more than 10 short films, which have been screened in film festivals around the world. Juliane participated at the Berlinale Talentcampus in 2008 and has held lectures about low budget filmmaking in Hong Kong (Hong Kong Int. Film Academy) and Singapore (SAE Institute).
Alexandra von der Heyde. - Producer – After her studies in advertising and communication in the Central University of Bogota, Colombia, and her work for one of the most renowned agencies in the production and realisation of marketing campaigns, she moved to Berlin , where she established the first program for the Spanish – speaking population in German television. She has recently completed studies as media producer for audio, video and internet and also as associate producer at the Institut für Schauspiel, Film- und Fernsehberufe in Berlin . She has so far participated in the production and realisation of various short films, which have been screened at different international film festivals.
Helena Mas- Screenwriter- has a degree in Audiovisual Communication (Pompeu Fabra University) and a European Master in Cultural Studies (University of Barcelona). She has worked for more than ten years for different media, focusing her career in the digital technologies related to cross-media platforms and transmedia contents. Since the beginning of 2012, she teaches Interactive Storytelling in the Multimedia and Telecommunication degree of the Open University of Catalonia, settled in Barcelona, where she comes from. In 2013 she was granted by the Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst to work on transmedia adaptations in the University HFF Konrad Wolf in Babelsberg, Germany, where she currently lives.
